FURTHER INFO

Our tip! Crystal-clear water at the source of the Salza........

The upper course of the Salza in Halltal is a water for fly fishing specialists who are looking for a nature experience and challenges with dry flies and nymphs. The area starts in Terz and meanders in the direction of flow over a length of approx. 9 km through the Halltal to the confluence with the Walster.

An enchanting and varied meadow and forest landscape with pools and trickling stretches that will leave a lasting impression. The upper part is a typical brown trout area with shelters and washed-out banks, while in the lower, wider part Salza grayling, among others, feel very much at home.

There is a road with ample parking along the upper reaches of the Salza.

What is important to us....

We promote the native brown trout and protect the grayling all year round.
