At the end of the 80s, the boom in modern carp fishing fascinated me. I invested a lot of time and work into this back then. After that I started fly fishing and it's still one of my favorite methods today, whether it's for grayling and trout in the local streams or for sea trout on the lake. For a while my main focus was on predatory fish fishing, especially with the spinning rod. And of course it was with the spinning rod that I had my first contact with our Silurus Glanis in the mid-90s. That's when the catfish fever started for me and hasn't let go of me to this day. Since then I've been fishing specifically for this species of fish and have meanwhile been able to get to know the complete variety of methods at home and abroad, and fortunately with success.

Today I do catfish fishing professionally and in recent years there have been a wide variety of stations and focal points. For me, the film project "Passion Silure" is clearly at the top of these projects, with which I made my passion for catfish fishing accessible to a wide audience. After I was allowed to help design the cult magazine Cats Illustrated, there was a film project called "Passion Silure". Another station was the online portal Catzilla, which was then ended for various reasons.

Since I'm always looking for new perspectives in life and also have a clear idea of ​​what I want to do and achieve, a new and exciting path has emerged for me. In the meantime I have found a great deal with Zebco, where I primarily develop and represent the Black Cat range. I have also been supporting Pijawetz - Geoff Anderson and Zeepter Sports for many years. Another area of ​​my work is guiding for the target fish catfish.

Travel and Surroundings:

Whenever possible, I spend my holidays in the great catfish districts of southern France. I'm also regularly out and about in my home country of Germany and try to outwit this target fish.
