Carp fishing, at home and abroad, on small, but also very much on large waters. Preferably at a throwing distance, but also at long distances with the boat. National and international competitions as part of a success-oriented team.

I started fishing very early in my life... about 40 years ago. At the age of 4, Santa gave me a pole, which I was able to inaugurate on Boxing Day by catching some small perch. I did river fishing my whole childhood and youth, until I finally got to know the team around the Pijawetz company. More than 20 years ago, Armin, Nicole, Wolfgang and Fred Pijawetz introduced me to the art of fly fishing at a fly fishing course, a form of fishing that I learned to appreciate and loved back then. In addition to fly fishing, carp fishing is and will always be my great passion.

Carpe diem - use every day on the water to get to know yourself better at Angling and to develop yourself further.  

A strategy that works today may no longer be promising tomorrow. That's why I love variety, experimentation, breaking new ground and developing alternative strategies on the water in order to be successful. Carp fishing offers an endless wealth of possibilities. There are no defeats, only the opportunity to learn new things.

Travel and Surroundings:

I have already accepted the challenge of outwitting big carp in Austria, Italy, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Serbia, Bosnia and France. For me, exploring a new water is both: a passion and a challenge. With the fly rod I was able to successfully fish the beautiful waters of Austria, Slovenia, England, Scotland and Ireland. The great variety of adventures still to be experienced spurs me on and in order to realize all my dreams, ideas and wishes, it probably takes a second or third life as an angler.
